General Terms
Last updated 2026-03-12
Termination
Either party may end access to digital materials when a material breach remains unresolved for fourteen days after written notice. Termination does not remove obligations regarding confidentiality of cohort discussions or your duty to destroy downloaded copies where instructed. We may suspend access immediately if we detect credential sharing that violates the enrollment agreement. Upon termination, unused live sessions are forfeited unless a documented outage on our side prevented attendance. Governing procedures follow the dispute section below for any contested termination.
User obligations
You agree to provide accurate registration details, keep credentials private, and use materials only for personal study unless a separate enterprise agreement states otherwise. You must not scrape assessment items, republish lab artifacts publicly, or attempt to reverse engineer scoring algorithms. If you participate in live discussions, you will treat other learners respectfully and avoid recording without explicit facilitator permission. You are responsible for maintaining equipment and network conditions suitable for live components.
Liability
Services are provided on an as-is basis to the maximum extent permitted under Republic of Korea law. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost wages, missed promotions, or project delays arising from study schedules. Aggregate liability for direct damages tied to a single enrollment is limited to the fees paid for that enrollment unless mandatory consumer protections provide otherwise. Nothing in this section limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is unlawful.
Service description
QueryForge Academy delivers structured learning experiences, practice assessments, and facilitator feedback related to SQL Server administration preparation. Deliverables may include downloadable guides, recorded clinics, and sandbox access subject to technical maintenance windows. We may update syllabi to reflect objective changes announced by credential providers. Features described on the site are informational; specific inclusions are defined in your order summary email.
Intellectual property
All curricula, assessments, branding, and recordings remain our intellectual property or that of our licensors. You receive a limited, non-transferable license to use materials during your access window. You may not remove attribution lines, merge our assets into competing courseware, or sublicense access. Feedback you provide may be used to improve services without obligation of payment unless a separate written agreement exists.
Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea without regard to conflict-of-law rules that would send the dispute elsewhere. Courts located in Seoul shall have exclusive jurisdiction for disputes exceeding the scope of mandatory consumer arbitration pathways, except where consumers may bring claims in their habitual residence under mandatory rules.
Acceptance
By enrolling, checking acceptance during checkout-style flows, or accessing paid materials, you confirm that you have read these terms and the linked privacy notice. If you enroll on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. Continued use after we post changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms for future renewals; we will note material changes on the imprint page with an updated date.
Definitions
“Services” means digital and live instructional offerings described at purchase. “Learner” means the individual account holder. “Materials” include PDFs, videos, scripts, and datasets supplied through the platform. “Facilitator” refers to instructors or mentors engaged by QueryForge Academy. Capitalized product names belong to their respective owners and are used descriptively.
Modifications
We may revise operational policies, schedules, or technical requirements to reflect platform upgrades or external exam blueprint updates. Material revisions to pricing for renewals will be communicated at least thirty days before renewal where feasible. Non-material clarifications may be posted without advance notice. Your exclusive remedy for disagreement with modifications affecting future renewals is to cancel before the renewal date according to the cancellation policy.

Consent
When you first visit, essential cookies required for authentication and security are placed without optional analytics. Additional analytics or preference cookies are placed only after you opt in through the modal or preferences link. You may withdraw consent at any time by clearing preferences in the footer workflow and removing cookies through browser settings, understanding that some convenience features may reset.
What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device to remember session state, language choices, or aggregated usage patterns. Similar technologies include local storage keys used to remember theme toggles and consent timestamps. This page describes categories we use and how long they persist so you can make an informed choice aligned with quality standards expectations in enterprise training environments.
Third-party cookies
If you enable analytics, our subprocessors may set cookies to distinguish recurring visits and approximate geography at a regional level. We do not allow advertising retargeting pixels on authenticated course pages. Embedded content from external hosts is avoided where possible; if introduced for webinars, consent will be requested separately when legally required.
Categories
Strictly necessary cookies support login, load balancing, and fraud prevention. Functional cookies remember UI preferences such as reduced motion where offered. Analytics cookies measure aggregate traffic and drop-off in learning modules. Preference cookies store anonymized consent selections. You can review each category in the modal before accepting non-essential groups.
Contact
Questions about cookies or this policy may be sent to team@data-portal.one with the subject line “Cookie inquiry.” Please include approximate timestamps and browser type to help us diagnose issues. We do not provide phone support solely for cookie configuration but will guide you to documentation where available.
Preferences
You may reopen the preferences link in the footer to adjust analytics opt-in without reloading all coursework progress. Changes apply prospectively and may take up to twenty-four hours to propagate across devices. If you use multiple browsers, set preferences separately per browser profile.
Browser controls
Major browsers allow blocking third-party cookies, deleting existing cookies, or alerting you before storage. Refer to vendor documentation for current steps. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent login. Using private browsing modes clears cookies at session end, which can repeatedly trigger consent prompts.
Changes
We update this policy when our cookie inventory or vendors change materially. The last updated date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use after posting constitutes acknowledgment unless applicable law requires a renewed consent capture for similar processing.
Scope
This policy covers visitors to data-portal.one and related subdomains operated by QueryForge Academy. Enterprise portals with separate domains may publish parallel notices; where both apply, the more specific enterprise notice controls for that portal’s workforce accounts.
Cancellation Policy
Last updated 2026-04-02
Scope
This cancellation policy applies to digital course purchases, live studio seats, and add-on mock packages sold directly through QueryForge Academy channels. Enterprise statements of work may define different cancellation windows; where a signed order form conflicts, that document prevails. Prices are informational on marketing pages; the checkout summary email controls the charged amount.
Contact
Cancellation requests must be emailed to team@data-portal.one from the enrolling address and include the order reference, learner name, and reason to help us improve. We confirm receipt within three business days. Phone requests are noted but must be followed by email to maintain an audit trail.
Eligibility
For self-paced digital products, you may request a full refund within fourteen days of purchase if you have not downloaded more than twenty percent of paid assets or completed more than one scored mock attempt. Live events remain eligible for a full refund until fourteen days before the start time unless stated otherwise on the event page. Partial attendance does not create prorated refunds except as required by consumer law.
Timeframe
Approved refunds are initiated within ten business days and may take additional reconciliation days to appear depending on your card issuer. If you paid through an intermediary, processing timelines follow that intermediary’s policies. Extensions may occur during public-holiday closures affecting payment networks in Korea.
Exceptions
No refunds are provided after the download or usage thresholds described above, for accounts terminated for credential sharing, or for bespoke coaching blocks already delivered. Optional donation-style add-ons are non-refundable. If regulatory authorities require us to withhold a transaction pending investigation, we will communicate status updates as permitted.
Process
After validating eligibility, we revoke access to digital materials and issue a reversal to the original payment method where technically possible. If reversal fails, we coordinate alternate settlement paths subject to identity verification. You should retain email confirmations until the refund posts.
Refund methods
Refunds return to the original card or supported electronic transfer methods. Cryptographic asset transfers are not supported. Currency conversions use the processor’s spot rate at reversal time; small differences versus the purchase amount may occur.
Records
We retain cancellation correspondence and refund decisions for internal audit consistent with statutory bookkeeping periods. Anonymized aggregates may be used to tune policy clarity but will not include personal identifiers in external reporting.
Consumer rights in Korea
Consumers in Korea may have additional rights under the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and the Framework Act on Consumers. Nothing here limits mandatory rights to withdraw within cooling-off periods where applicable. If a mandatory rule conflicts with a clause here, the mandatory rule prevails.
