The data controller for personal data processed through this site is QueryForge Academy, reachable at team@data-portal.one for privacy inquiries. Postal correspondence may be directed to our Gangnam business address published on the contact page. We aim to acknowledge privacy requests within five business days and resolve them within thirty days unless complexity requires extension, in which case we will explain the delay.
We collect account identifiers, billing contact details where applicable, study telemetry such as quiz attempts and video progress, support messages, and technical logs including IP address and user agent. Live sessions may generate chat transcripts when you choose to participate in text chat. Optional surveys collect professional context such as employer size to improve cohort design. We do not intentionally collect sensitive categories defined under Korean law unless you voluntarily submit them in free text, which we discourage.
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data we hold. You may object to certain processing where legitimate interests apply. You may lodge a complaint with the Personal Information Protection Commission in Korea if you believe processing violates the Personal Information Protection Act. We verify requests to prevent unauthorized disclosure and may request additional identification proportionate to the risk.
We use data to deliver courses, authenticate users, personalize study recommendations, analyze aggregate performance of instructional assets, detect fraud, and comply with legal obligations. Marketing communications are sent only with consent where required. Analytics cookies run only after you opt in through the cookie preferences workflow. We do not sell personal data in the sense of exchanging lists for monetary consideration.
This notice applies to processing connected with the data-portal.one website, related enrollment flows, and communications sent from team@data-portal.one. It does not govern third-party sites linked for reference, such as examination providers or open documentation repositories. Offline agreements signed with enterprises may add controllers or processors; those agreements prevail for the subjects they cover.
We rely on subprocessors for hosting, email delivery, analytics when consented, and support ticketing. Contracts require subprocessors to protect data consistent with this notice and applicable law. A current list of categories is available upon request. If we change material subprocessors affecting risk, we will update this notice and, where required, seek renewed consent for optional processing.
Account data is retained while your relationship is active and for a period afterward to resolve disputes and meet tax or audit obligations, typically not exceeding seven years for billing records unless longer retention is legally required. Learning telemetry may be anonymized sooner for analytics. Backup systems may retain residual copies for a limited technical window after deletion requests are honored.
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures including access controls, encryption in transit for authenticated sessions, and least-privilege policies for staff. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; you should protect credentials and report suspected compromise promptly. Incident notifications will be provided where law requires and where feasible will include guidance on mitigation steps.
“Processing” includes collection, storage, analysis, and deletion. “Personal data” means information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. “We” refers to QueryForge Academy as controller unless stated otherwise for specific enterprise engagements.
